Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatún Country Hotel. Loved the location. Very pretty. Dinner in restaurant was good as was breakfast . The owner's music collection was fabulous. I could have stayed there for weeks.

The staff was very pleasant and professional. Access to the hotpot any time (bathrobes given by the hotel). The restaurant and breakfast were excellent! Practical facilities (petrol station, pump station for tyres, wash station).

Offering natural hot springs, free Wi-Fi and an in-house restaurant, this farmhouse hotel is in Iceland’s wild Westfjords. Súdavík village is within a 1-hour drive. The accomodation is located in a farm, basically in the middle of nowhere, but it's totally worth taking the long journey in the Westfjords to get to this place. It has a very unique feeling, you are in the nature. I arrived very late, around midnight, but communication with the hotel staff and then self check in was very easy. After arrival I jumped into the hot pool (which is available 24/7), they have both outdoor and indoor pools (in an amazing palm house). Breakfast was divine with a lot of local produce, it's definitely worth the additional 2000 ISK that I had to pay for that. It's a place where I definitely have to return one day.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. Lovely small hotel in a beautiful location. You can park next to the hotel for free, the breakfast is good and the shower is one of the best we have had here with good pressure.

The place was very peaceful, the person we meet on check in was warm and welcoming and very helpful with regard to booking somewhere to eat that night. he had a tremendous sense of humour.
