Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatún Country Hotel. Lovely place with delicious breakfast (we absolutely loved the salmon) and friendly staff. Also the diner (that must be pre-ordered during the winter season) was great. Rooms are cozy and comfortable.

Super nice staff with excellent recommendations of the town and surroundings. Clear view on the northern lights thanks to the remote location. Tasty breakfast!!!

Viesnīca Basalt atrodas pilsētā Borgarnes. Viesu rīcībā ir restorāns, bārs, dārzs un bezmaksas WiFi. It was an oasis. The evening meal was delicious and hot tub a bonus. Staff were friendly, informative and incredibly helpful. Thank You.

Set in Iceland’s Westfjords district, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and basic rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Brjánslækur ferry terminal is a 5-minute drive away. Nice and comfortable room. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Access to the hotpot any time (bathrobes given by the hotel). The restaurant and breakfast were excellent! Practical facilities (petrol station, pump station for tyres, wash station).

Offering natural hot springs, free Wi-Fi and an in-house restaurant, this farmhouse hotel is in Iceland’s wild Westfjords. Súdavík village is within a 1-hour drive. The accomodation is located in a farm, basically in the middle of nowhere, but it's totally worth taking the long journey in the Westfjords to get to this place. It has a very unique feeling, you are in the nature. I arrived very late, around midnight, but communication with the hotel staff and then self check in was very easy. After arrival I jumped into the hot pool (which is available 24/7), they have both outdoor and indoor pools (in an amazing palm house). Breakfast was divine with a lot of local produce, it's definitely worth the additional 2000 ISK that I had to pay for that. It's a place where I definitely have to return one day.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. Lovely small hotel in a beautiful location. You can park next to the hotel for free, the breakfast is good and the shower is one of the best we have had here with good pressure.

Set on Flatey Island in the Breidafjördur Bay, this hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Baldur Ferry Terminal that departs from Stykkishólmur. It was a great place to stay on the quiet island.

The place was very peaceful, the person we meet on check in was warm and welcoming and very helpful with regard to booking somewhere to eat that night. he had a tremendous sense of humour. Breakfast was perfect the following morning with plenty of choice
