Fosshótel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Our room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and large. The crib was very good. The view from the room was perfect because it had been snowing for two days before It even had a small balcony trype thing. The restaurant was expensive but worth every penny. Staff was helpful and fun.

The hotel is 3km away from the main road, so the environment is very calm and quiet. The barn is completely renovated and offers big rooms with all the accomodations needed to have a pleasant stay. This family-run Country Hotel´s rooms include tea/coffee facilities, a patio and panoramic views of Skagafjordur. The property was absolute gorgeous with clear views of the mountains and rivers. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Iceland.
