The hot tube outside, quiet and calm. The lovely ladies working at the hotel. The beautiful horses nearby. The simplicity of the hotel, warm, easy. Perfect spot for a digital nomad, for a retreat and of course for horse riding lovers.

The overall vibe and concept is superb, a surprisingly hip hotel in Iceland. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I loved the design and features of our room. It was clean, spacious and very cozy and comfortable. Location is fairly convenient, with parking just outside and a supermarket nearby. The food hall and shop on the ground floor were great too. There was a lot of varieties and they were delicious!

It was a nice place and we enjoyed a lot the spa and the sauna. It was a nice way to end our vacation in Iceland. The food was okay, but nothing special.
It’s a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and the south coast. There is only 7 km to Hveragerdi and Selfoss, cities with a wide range of shops and restaurants.

The hot tubs were a great experience at the end of a long drive across the Icelandic south coast. There was a slight smell of sulphur to the tap water, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to such things. A great place to stay during the off-season; a complimentary room upgrade was a very welcoming touch.

The most perfect place for a winter getaway.
The views and location are just beautiful.
The host was very kind and informative.
The hot tub made it the most wonderful experience
Room was very nice and well equipped- all shower essentials and more. The SPA area was absolutely amazing so was the SPA. Cozy sauna suitable for 2 people, absolutely loved enjoying the starry sky from hot pool. Bar location is very nice, especially if you want to enjoy the sunset with a drink. Restaurant service was swift and pleasant, dinner food was phenomenal, breakfast - continental - as good as that gets. Overall location is a gem for winter time. Northern lights from our room window was just the cherry on top.
Isolated location with great facilities (geothermal pool and sauna looking out to the hills). The staff were accommodating with transferring us to their hotel in Reykjavik. Not only that, the hotel in Reykjavik messaged us on WhatsApp if there was an early check in available (which there was). They went above and beyond with our situation. If you are travelling in winter, make sure you have logistics organised or know how to drive in their tough conditions.
This was absolutely the best hotel we stayed in on our 12 day trip around Iceland. It was also the most expensive, but I believe it was worth it. Every other hotel was filled with partying travelers who were too loud all night, and this luxurious hotel was the best sleep we got during out entire trip. Relaxing in the geothermal tub really seals the deal on this hotel--it's worth the extra expense. Very cute bar as well, with tasty drinks.
Very cool hotel, just like the photos. We were greeted by friendly staff and were offered a welcome drink. The room was a nice size, no issues there. We enjoyed the hot pool as well. We loved the northern lights wake up call option, the hotel staff called in the middle of the night to tell us northern lights were visible! A nice little service!
The staff is very friendly! You will definitely love the vibes there when you stepped in the hotel. View from the room was great. The northern light wake up call service is fantastic! Thanks to the team so that we able to see the spectacular moment during our stay here!
I loved the location. if you really want to get away from it all this is the place to go. it’s about an hour out of Reykjavík. obviously you can do tours etc but I also just went walking one day down to the frozen lake (about 5k away), and literally passed no one.
Very cool location, and the hotel itself is just really cool! The bar area is very nice to sit and have a drink, and the spa pool and sauna area is gorgeous! I loved the decoration and the front desk staff were very helpful and nice.
Beautiful hotel and room. The dinner at the hotel was excellent. The unique location and scenic surroundings of the hotel made it feel like total peace and seclusion yet only 30 minutes from Reykjavik.
We spent two nights previous to this trip on tours looking for the northern lights without luck. We spent two nights here and we were able to see them both nights from the window of our hotel room
Iceland salmon for breakfast was a bonus. The view from here is spectacular and it's even better from the hotel spa. The location is pretty remote and incredibly beautiful.
The hotel was lovely and comfortable. A few staff were surly, otherwise, everyone was very nice. Seems those who came here to work from another country were more polite.
We loved the restaurant, the food for lunch and dinner was super yummy. The pool and spa was great and the lounge room was so nice to relax and have a drink or two.
Outdoor geothermal pool and the location of the property.
Seeing aurora from the hotel was highlight!
Staff went above n beyond to make us feel comfortable!
