We didn't spend much time in Letterkenny other than for dinner. We ate at the Yellow Pepper which i would highly recommend. It's a robust town that i would have liked to explore and the surrounding area but we were on our way to another area of Donegal. We cabbed to dinner so we were able to have a few glasses of wine with dinner. Cabs were easy to get just outside the bank. Quick ride home with good service. Traffic during rush hour was busy although not as busy as a larger city.

Just used it as a base, plus it was a bank holiday and shops were all closed. So left in the morning and didn’t come back until evening. But it was a busy town traffic wise. 3.30 in the morning and traffic was still driving down the Main Street. Could see it but noise wise we couldn’t hear it.

Letterkenny is a sprawl and would avoid other than to go to a couple the restaurants.
But it’s easily bypassed and there are wonderful scenic drives awaiting. Fanad peninsula - Malin Head for example.

There was a lot more to do in the town than I had initially thought. Good retail shops in the retail park and in the town centre. Cathedral is worth a visit. It is a good centre to stay at for exploring mid to northwest Donegal county. Marble Hill strand, Bloody Foreland and Downings are not too far by car. Camille Thai restaurant was very good value - just on edge of the Retail park past Aldi.

Had a great two days in Letterkenny plenty of shops and a good variety of shops to spend your money. Great places to eat and drink may I say but my only complaint is that you can't get anything to eat before 13.30 on a Sunday .
❗️DO NOT BOOK TO STAY AT THIS PROPERTY❗️
Arrived at the accommodation- door locked and no access from the back. Rang the owner multiple times to which he didn’t answer. We then had to book a hotel costing us a further €200. Another couple arrived and also couldn’t get in or get in contact with the owner. We were left standing on the side of the street with all of our luggage.
This man is a fraud and scammer and I will be taking this further In order to get our money back!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
The hotel is very centrally located in the middle of the main street of Letterkenny, great for a base when traveling around Donegal. There is plenty of parking at the back of the hotel and only for €5 for the night. The rooms are spacious and spotless with a comfortable big bed. The bathrooms have big towels, they also have an iron/ironing board in the room. The staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast is plentiful with loads on offer. Would recommend and looking forward to going back
The property has everything you could ask for, including a restaurant, bar, and spa. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, one of the best places we ate on our trip around Ireland. The bartender, Sean, was a delight and very accommodating. The interior of the estate is breathtaking and I felt like I was in a movie. I am already planning on revisiting in the future!
The rooms were spacious.bed was so comfy the hotel staff were so very friendly and very attentive. The food in the restaurant was excellent breakfast and evening meals the hotel location was great a few minutes walk to the main street with loads to do from shopping to a good night out with many gòod bars and restaurants will diffently be back at the station house hotel
Amazing facilities, very clean, amazing atmosphere and the staff were amazing!
Was a concert on downstairs, and we didn't even hear it!
Lovely big spacious family rooms!
Has two garages at either side of the hotel and it takes about 5/10 mins in the car to get into the city centre and surrounding play parks etc.
We will definitely be back again.
So close to St Eunans and Main Street LetterKenny. It was bustling and busy during the day, but really quiet at night. Slept well. Clean, had all we needed to self cater. We liked watching the Olympics and a bit of Netflix after being out and about all day.
Hotel is perfectly situated in Letterkenny and is approx 5 minutes walk from the main street. Plenty of choice for breakfast options, and all staff are friendly and attentive. Evening menu..superb. All waiting staff and bar staff were amazing.
All the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Big spacious room with air conditioning. Great location in centre of town. Very good breakfast with great selection of cereals, fruit and hot food. Great value for money.
The hotel was spotless, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, will definitely stay there again and would recommend. Well done to all the staff for their hard work. Great location too
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. The bedroom was lovely and very clean. Heating for the room could be easily regulated. Parking was available in the carpark behind the hotel.
Location was great, right on the main street. Free parking was a bonus. The staff were super friendly, especially Cathal in the Warehouse Bar & Kitchen inside the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Receptionist at check-in was very nice and welcoming. Room was spacious. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. Hotel in general is nice and spacious
